About
Write for us

The Church of Ireland Gazette welcomes thoughtful, well-written contributions from across the island of Ireland and beyond. We are always keen to hear from new and returning voices from all walks of church life — lay and ordained, young and old, rural and urban, liberal and conservative. Whether you’re a parishioner, student, academic, clergy member, or simply someone with a perspective worth sharing, we invite you to consider writing for us.
We consider submissions across a wide range of content areas, including but not limited to: news and reporting from parishes, dioceses, and organisations; opinion and commentary on current events, theology, or church life; personal reflections, testimony, or devotional writing; book, film, and cultural reviews with a faith-based lens; letters to the Editor; features, essays, and in-depth pieces on social or ethical issues; and interviews, profiles, and photo essays.

We expect contributors to write with:
- Charity and clarity
- A balanced tone
- Sound sourcing where claims are made
Our house style guide outlines formatting, spelling, theological terminology, tone, and citation practices. Please review it before submitting, especially for longer articles or regular columns.
