This year, the Mothers’ Union (MU) in Cork celebrated its 130th birthday in style, with a wonderful service in Christ Church, Rushbrooke (Cobh) on 9th July. We weren’t sure of the actual anniversary date, or even which branch in the Diocese was the first one, but we discovered the year when sorting through the archives….
