Clark Brydon
Clark Brydon is the Editor of the Church of Ireland Gazette, the island’s longest-running church publication. His career spans education, safeguarding, communications, and cathedral ministry — reflecting a varied engagement with both church and community life.
Most recently he has worked at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin, and at a boarding school in Raphoe, County Donegal.
Originally from Great Britain, Clark moved to Ireland in 2020 to undertake doctoral research at Trinity College Dublin. Since then, he has combined academic inquiry with practical leadership across a range of ecclesiastical and educational settings.
As Editor, Clark is dedicated to maintaining the Gazette’s editorial independence and fostering a publication that champions rigorous journalism, thoughtful reflection, and the open exchange of ideas within the Church of Ireland and beyond.
